Here at William C. Rott, we love working in the winter and fully believe that any damage done by winter can also be fixed in the winter.

This project in Lockport is one of the biggest low-slope roofs we’ve ever done!!! This roofing job was challenging but also incredibly rewarding…
First and foremost, I’d like to thank everyone for their patience, support, and understanding these past 8 months. While we are in a time of uncertainty and concern, knowing you can always count on the support of friends, families, neighbors and more means the world to us.
As we enter this Winter season, I wanted to remind and reassure you that we’re able to continue working and we’re doing everything we can to keep our customers, our team members, and our families safe.
Some roofs last years. Some, years and years. Others, years and years and years. Which is a long time.
A Rott roof last years and years and years and years. That’s a really long time.
William C. Rott has been building long-lasting roofs for 110 years that truly stand the test of time. And what comes with 110 years of experience? Well, for starters, a pretty big library of photos to drive down memory lane with. We are honored to have been able to serve WNY for the past 110 years, and we can’t wait to share a few of these memories with you. Let’s take a look, shall we?
Bert from Grand Island has had his fair share of work done by William C. Rott & Son, including roofing, gutters, and siding — but what he’s loved the most are his new windows. Bert says, “When people come into the house, they go crazy over the windows!”
We’ve had some hot summer nights and days! What do you do to stay cool? To get through? For most of us the answer is, stay in some air conditioning, at home, work, or in the car.
Well, what if your job was to be outside all day long? Facing those conditions head on and often with increased heat levels because of dark surfaces and no shade? Yikes!
While this year’s roofing season has been shortened, we’ve been working hard to help as many WNY homeowners as possible! As we moved through the phases in WNY, we’ve been incredibly thankful to get back into the swing of things and resume what we do best.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve helped repair roofs, install new gutters, put on new siding, and even rebuild some vintage posts beneath a flat roof. Let’s take a look at a few projects we’ve been up to…
Well, my dad, Bill Rott has done it again!
He got a call a week ago from his sister-in-law. She works for a dry cleaner.
She said her employer was looking to clean out the stockpile coats that were left unclaimed, and from donation drives.
I’d like to touch base with all of you about what’s going on in our world and our nation, to let you know what we’re up to, and how this might impact you, our customer. The short story is, we are all experiencing a time of uncertainty and concern that is made worse by all of the conflicting messages.
So, I know everyone is trying to do what they should. Whether that be social distancing, wearing masks, washing their hands, doing what they can, helping their family and those with health conditions. It’s terrific to see people do all of this (and more) including shopping for those in need who have to shelter in place.
Many are still called to do the essential things. Whether it’s a health care worker, or other essential services such as food supply, delivery, electric, gas, plumbing, water and so many others.
